Measures of Central Tendency

Mean:

The mean is a measure of central tendency that calculates the average value of a set of numbers. It is obtained by adding up all the values in the set and dividing the sum by the total number of values.

Median:

The median is a measure of central tendency that represents the middle value of a set of numbers. It is determined by arranging the values in numerical order and selecting the middle value. If there is an even number of values, the median is the average of the two middle values.

Mode:

The mode is a measure of central tendency that refers to the value or values that appear most frequently in a data set. In some cases, a data set may have multiple modes (bimodal or multimodal), or no mode at all (no value appears more than once).
